Circular: From Plant to Soil
From: PLA is produced by fermenting sugar feedstocks (such as corn starch) and is a renewable resource. PBAT is usually made from petroleum-based feedstocks or renewable resources (such as vegetable oils) and is a biodegradable plastic.
